This house was designed for a retiring couple to relax amidst the county landscape. The bungalow design future proofed the accessibility of the home. The single storey dwelling is designed to integrate into its surrounding context. The dwelling is composed of a rectilinear shape with individual components pulled away from one another to delineate the division of the internal space; public (Kitchen, Dining, Living) semi-public (Lounge & Study) and private (Bedrooms). A vaulted living area with rear glazing aims to capture the spectacular views of the rolling country landscape. Planning was recently granted with construction expected to commence later this year.
